Beyond the Web

Technology is simply a tool to be harnessed. Learning the skills and applying them to our work will ensure we understand and embrace these new tools. Businesses don't always have time to look in many places so this will provide a doorway through which to travel into the library. They will be able to see and feel an otherwise intangible service. To experience the satisfaction (not frustration), to understand the information (not be overloaded) and trust the sources (valid not unknown) can all be expressed with web 2.0 tools. Hammers and nails, wood, glue and saws - web 2.0 learning is OHS for the virtual world.
